Gabbatha, also known as the Stone Pavement or Place of Decision, is the place where Pontius Pilate brought Jesus before the crowd and asked, "What will I do with this Jesus, called the Christ?" (Matthew 27:22).At some point in life we are all faced with this question, aren’t we? Many of us are faced with this question everyday, whether we choose to hear it or not. Perhaps we choose not to hear it, and perhaps this is why many churches today seem more like clubs or organizations rather than the churches we read about in Acts that changed the world for Christ’s name.
Things must change.
We must change.
And in order for this change to take place, we must first look inside and ask ourselves, "What will I do with this Jesus, called the Christ?" Only then, can we look outside and ask the same question of the world around us.
